History
R. B. Lindley & Son is a family business, run by three generations of the Lindley Family. The business was established in 1959 by Richard Lindley, and in the 1970's was joined by son David Lindley who now runs the company. David's son Alex joined the company in 2004 to follow in the footsteps of his predecessors.
Originally set up as an engine reconditioning service, R. B. Lindley & Son has gone from strength to strength. Over the course of the last several years research has shown that motorists are opting to part-exchange or scrap their faulty engines as opposed to replacing them. With this in mind, the main focus of the company revolves around our in-house timing belt and head gasket failure service.
